YWAM AUSTRALIA DTS
Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Toowoomba offers a Discipleship Training School (DTS) to deepen faith and prepare for missions. This five-month program emphasises "Knowing God" and "Making God Known," divided into a 12-week lecture phase and an 8-week outreach phase.
Conducted at the YWAM Toowoomba base in Queensland, Australia, the lecture phase includes daily lectures, worship, and discussions on topics like hearing God’s voice, identity in Christ, and evangelism. Guest speakers, often seasoned missionaries, provide inspiration and challenge students spiritually. This phase fosters personal growth and community building.
The outreach phase allows students to apply their learnings in diverse cultural contexts, aiming to spread Jesus' hope globally. Activities include building projects, children's ministry, and street evangelism.
