YWAM Toowoomba’s Music/Worship DTS invites you to dive deep into your passion for music while enhancing your spiritual journey. Over 12 transformative weeks, you'll engage in immersive lectures that focus on biblical teaching, worship principles, and personal growth. You'll learn from experienced instructors and connect with like-minded peers in a supportive community. Throughout the program, you'll have opportunities to develop your musical skills and explore various forms of worship expression. The course culminates in an 8-week outreach phase, where you’ll take your talents locally and to the world, sharing the message of hope through music and worship. Whether you’re a musician, singer, music producer or simply love worship, this DTS will equip you to make a lasting impact while deepening your relationship with God. Who is a YWAM DTS for?
A Discipleship Training School (DTS) is for anyone! Whether you are looking for a way to spend your gap year, or you are an individual who is eager to deepen your faith, develop leadership skills, and engage in service, YWAM DTS is for you! It provides a supportive community for personal growth and transformation, ideal for those seeking direction in their spiritual journey or aiming to make a positive global impact. In a lot of ways, DTS reflects Bible school with specific focuses on Knowing God and Making God Known. Whether you are looking for a way to spend your gap year, pursuing ministry, missions, or a fuller expression of faith, DTS offers a unique, encouraging environment.
What should I pack for YWAM DTS?

On your DTS you should pack plenty of clothes for 5 months of ministry & adventure. Don't forget your Bible, laptop, & journal for lectures!

How much does YWAM DTS cost?

All of our DTS’s are $4850 AUD for Lecture Phase, and $4500 AUD for Outreach Phase. The Adventure DTS costs an additional $800 AUD to cover activity costs. The Lecture Phase fee covers tuition, housing, and food. The Outreach Phase fee covers travel expenses, accomodation, and food. The fee for the Outreach Phase of DTS is subject to the price of airfare. If you are coming from overseas, remember that our prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Where is YWAM Toowoomba located?

Our YWAM base is nestled on the easternmost point of the city of Toowoomba. We are positioned on the edge of the Great Dividing Range mountains with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding Southeast Queensland area. The city of Toowoomba is 120 km directly west of Brisbane and a few hours drive from the beautiful Australian beaches found in the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast. Toowoomba is a great place to spend 5 months with God all while enjoying the best Australia has to offer with new friends.
