PUBLSIHED ON: Nov 6, 2024, 12:44:09 PM
LOOKING FOR A LIFE CHANGING-CHANGING EXPERIENCE WITH GOD? LOOK NO FURTHER THAN JOINING A DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING SCHOOL WITH YWAM AUSTRALIA.
## Experience Australia's Culture and Scenery
Australia is known for its stunning landscapes, from the iconic Outback desert to the pristine beaches and lush rainforests. By choosing a YWAM DTS in Australia, you'll have the opportunity to explore these breathtaking sights while immersing yourself in the rich and diverse culture of the country.
The lively cities, indigenous heritage, and local wildlife offer a unique backdrop for your journey with God. Whether you're hanging out on the Gold Coast's beaches, snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef, or hiking in the Great Dividing Range, the natural beauty of Australia will leave you with amazing memories and experiences!
## Missions Training and Christian Mentorship
YWAM DTS in Australia provides great missionary training and Christian mentorship to help you grow in your faith and equip you for future ministry. The experienced staff and leaders are full time missionaries with YWAM and are dedicated to guiding you through the Discipleship Training School curriculum. Some of the topics covered during DTS include Biblical Studies, the Character & Nature of God, God's Father Heart, Jesus's Lordship, The Holy Spirit, and other practical ministry training.
The holistic approach of DTS ensures that you receive not only head knowledge but also practical application, preparing you to make a impact in the nations. The live-learn environment of YWAM will foster growth in many areas of your life, helping you to discover and develop your unique gifts and talents.
## Make Life-Long Friends
One of the most rewarding aspects of doing a YWAM DTS is the sense of community and the friendships you'll form. Living, learning, and serving alongside like-minded individuals from around the world creates a deep bond and a network of support that lasts a lifetime.
The shared experiences, challenges, and triumphs build a strong sense of camaraderie and mutual encouragement. The community atmosphere of YWAM Australia creates an environment where you can be authentic in your relationships with God and people, and ultimately build relationships that extend beyond the duration of the program.
## Travel the World During the Overseas Outreach
A key component of YWAM DTS is the outreach phase, where you will get to put your training into practice by sharing Jesus with others and serving communities in need. YWAM Australia offers diverse outreach opportunities, both locally and internationally, allowing you to make a meaningful impact.
Whether you're working with refugee families in Toowoomba, supporting local prayer & worship ministries, or engaging in evangelism, these hands-on experiences not only benefit those you serve but also deepen your understanding of God's heart for the world. The outreach phase is a transformative time that challenges and inspires you to live out your faith in practical ways.
## Personal Growth and Spiritual Development
YWAM DTS is designed to be a catalyst for personal and spiritual growth. The DTS program provides an intentional space for you to grow deeper your relationship with God, understand your identity in Christ, and discern your calling and purpose for the future.
Through times of worship, prayer, and reflection, you'll experience profound spiritual renewal. The teachings and mentorship will help you grow in your character, cultivate servant-heartedness, and develop a strong foundation in your faith. This journey of transformation equips you to live a life of purpose and impact long after the DTS is over. Wait no longer, take a step of faith and dedicate 5-months to Jesus starting today!
